Marema was originally built as a cottage house for his family, by Mr Ilias Haikalis.

The uniqueness of its location and the peaceful beauty of its surroundings made all family guests cherish their stay and ask for guest rooms to rent.

Marema was expanded and totally renewed by his daughter, Maria Haikali, who is currently running this summer getaway with love and welcoming every single guest with pure hospitality while treating them as a part of her family.
